This resource includes a link to an international podcast that explores glass.  It includes a student template and a teacher explainer.

The hero of this resource is the article produced by the Australian Academy of Science Can a broken windscreen be recycled?  It invites students to investigate glass by uncovering its significance of the topic in multiple contexts. Including the 3 Whys thinking routine, it guides students to consider local-global connections. To contextualise learning, students are directed to the relevant  United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
